The answers below explain the information published on this website. The floating assistant can help you find the relevant section and discuss the model.

01 / THE COMPANY

What does Common Bond Capital do?

CBC develops, licenses and supports the common-bond economy architecture, the Common Bond Digital Platform and the Impact Common Bond Shield system. It organises existing community trust, collective demand, local enterprise and evidence into governed economic activity.

It was incorporated on 5 August 2025 under registration K2025614643. Its portfolio includes Impact Tech AI, Impact Common Bond Digital and a strategic investment interest and operating roles in Envi Africa Life.

02 / COMMON BONDS

What is a common-bond group?

A group with an internal social and governance life that can also act externally as an economic unit. It brings collective demand, obligations, decisions, records and mandates into the market. The model starts with familiar forms of mutual support rather than requiring communities to replace them.

03 / PLATFORM CAPABILITIES

What has been delivered, and what is designed next?

Phase 1 established a cloud-deployed base for identity and roles, group governance, wallets and transactions, Matshediso configuration and audit-first execution. The wallet layer supports deposits, contributions, running balances and filterable transaction history.

The Phase 1 product report also documents Matshediso configuration screens, administrator dashboards, PayFast integration and a 2025 delivery record. The wider architecture describes Phase 2 growth and provider-workflow designs. Configuration screens and reports do not independently confirm that every operational feature, payment channel or regulated service is available to the public.

04 / SHIELDS

What is a Shield, and is it an insurer?

A Shield converts a group mandate into purpose-bound rules, contributions, allocations, provider workflows, approvals, delivery, evidence and reporting. It orchestrates activity; it does not replace the appropriately licensed or contracted insurer, payment provider, intermediary or funding party.

Matshediso is the protection corridor connecting funeral protection, group rules, payment flows, selected local providers and claims-related fulfilment. The broader portfolio covers recurring and event-driven needs described on the Shields page.

05 / LOCAL COMMERCE

How do merchants and communities participate?

Consumer groups organise demand and purchasing mandates. Merchant networks organise supply, service standards, pricing and fulfilment. The platform connects these through payments, orders, reconciliation and evidence.

Local undertakers, caterers, transporters, traders and other providers can build service records in a verified operating network. Authorised Digital Intermediary participation depends on the required permissions and appointments. No public provider-verification or registration tool is offered on this website.

06 / CASH AND CAPITAL

Does the model require a fully cashless economy?

No. CBC’s cash-normalisation strategy treats cash as a legitimate category to be recorded and coordinated alongside retail-store and EFT journeys. Useful operating value can precede full formalisation.

Repeated records can improve bargaining and readiness for funding, insurance or investment. They do not guarantee approval, credit or returns. Decisions remain with the relevant providers.

07 / NEXT STEPS

Where can I find pricing or apply?

Pricing, launch dates and specific operational application requirements are not published. Join the platform waiting list to register early interest, or prepare a partnership enquiry and share it with your CBC representative. The waiting list does not create an account or guarantee access. The assistant cannot invent a quotation or enrol you.

08 / PRIVACY

Can I reject optional cookies and still ask questions?

Yes. Browsing and source-based assistant answers work with optional storage rejected. Live AI, when configured, is enabled separately in the assistant. Its questions and recent context go to the configured AI provider only when you choose that mode. Do not send sensitive information.
